Tweedy Ted's A-Z of great destinations

Ted in Arezzo Arezzo in Tuscany is a stunning small city, famed for the frescoes by Piero della Francesca. Don't miss this gorgeous square the Piazza Grande which has the Vasari Loggia down it's side. Ted's in the bell tower overlooking, a perfect spot to observe the people in the cafes. Just outside Arezzo Ted ate his favourite pizza of walnuts, honey, pecorino cheese and pears!

Side-stepping Florence Ted drives south through the beautiful Chianti countryside stopping off at the delightfully situated Siena, where he found a bustling centre of shops and bars. Arezzo was a smaller but elegant city with amazing artworks a real contrast to the harsh beauty of Gubbio in Umbria which it was well worth the long climb to see. Assisi was the prize at the end, a truly magnificent site, visible from miles across the broad valley bottom. Read on to hear about Ted's highlights!
